Learning Make-up Application

It's hard to associate make-up with me. This is because I am the type of person who grew up loving sports and crafts. I'd rather splurge thousands of Pesos for my third pair of rubber shoes this year than buying face products.

Before you think about it, no, I don't hate make-up. But I don't get much of its essence. Maybe I understand why it's around but just couldn't accept the logic behind dabbing liquids on your face, covering your eyes with hues, putting pinkish glows on your cheeks and many other stuff.

What I'm trying to say is, why should you use make-up? To cover up your imperfections, yes, but I have to say that these imperfections make you who you are, so why cover it?

Anyway, here's the big turn-around: I have decided to learn the art of make-up application. This is one of my personal projects this summer. Though I still don't get the reason why make-up exists, I will take on the challenge.

To begin with, I bought a whole set of Elf brushes at a cosmetics store. Each costs Php250.00 plus.

I'd like to thank Alex for the Nude Eyeshadow Kit she bought from Hong Kong, Kyle for the EOS lipbalm he bought from USA and Miss Mia for the Powder Blush she bought from the Philippines. Thank you for the gifts. Who would have thought that I'd be wearing them with the use of my own hands? Hahaha! The rest of the make-up were bought by me.
